About Merchant House

In a city that knows real character comes with history, Merchant House stands out as a destination for vintage that breaks every antiquated rule. Our ever-changing collection of furniture, art, and decor is sourced and created by a mix of merchants and artists who share a passion for exceptional design. Founded by Rosa Dunlap, Merchant House brings together creatives from different perspectives to curate and style exceptional pieces, demonstrating that vintage isn't about nostalgia, but rather the foundation for inspired, modern living.

About Merchant Hall

The sister space to Merchant House - surrounded by vintage shopping, specialty retail, photo studio, pizzeria, and wine bar.  Once a bustling hub of industry, its storied walls now set the stage for something entirely new where past and present meet in a thoughtfully transformed warehouse that blends raw character with fresh energy. This landmark welcomes community—one that values history, creativity, and the unmistakable spirit of New Orleans.

An added bonus? Our friend Bird Lambert will be hosting an art show featuring local artists in the upstairs salon at Merchant House. Details about the show and Bird’s suggestions for where to eat and drink in New Orleans are below!
